Tyson first kills Wlad, within a few rounds. Tyson then outpoints Vitali or stops him by tko. Probably on the same night if he really pushed himself.
As an atg heavyweight where do people rate Wlad? Do they see him as Top 20, Top 15, Top 10 or even Top 5.
Love how after evey wlad fight, the haters then bring up ali or tyson haha, every ****ing time like it means ****. Take this **** to the classic board where you can fantasize with the others there if that makes you feel any better lol
As much as i viscerally dislike Tyson, i have to recognise he does to Wlad what he did to Carl Williams. Vitali would take a painfull beating, and maybe last 12 ( but i doubt it).
wasn't the same night though. FAIL. As it wasn't the same night that superHW Vitali got stopped by a middleweight or Wlad got destroyed inside 5 minutes by a 37 year old neverman retiree. You see, I didn't need to use that.
hes certainly HoF for being the youngest title holder, but he did MUCH more than that - to add his unification and successful, blazingly fast defence streak against largely prime challengers and destruction of at least one ATG shoehorns him in despite a weak twilight career when he was picking up pay packets.
No he wouldn't have. Wlad's rythmn - once broken - flusters him. Someone attacking from all angles means he can't set up that jab and that missile of a right hand. Sorry - as good as Wladimir is - I don't think he take take on and beat a prime Mike Tyson. Tyson from 1996 onwards yes but not the prime Tyson.
He was 19 when he fought Tillis, and actually boxed very well. The other guys won about 3 rounds between them. Wladmir was hyperventilating against any fighter who threw punches at him for years, how do you think he'd have done against the Tyson coming to the ring looking to take his head off. This fight is over inside 2 rounds with Wlads balance looking like Berbicks by the end Vitali was tough, very tough, but way to cumbersome and slow for Tyson, and Vitali never faced anyone to smash him with several punches at a time. Lewis was one big shot at a time. I think Vitali gets much the same treatment Larry Holmes/Frank Bruno got, bit of success early while Tyson finds his range and timing, but once the bombs start landing he's out of there. The brothers are model sportsmen, Wladimir very talented but Tyson would be his worst nightmare, and Vitali, as tough and awkward as he is, again Tyson is so much quicker and ferocious than anyone he ever faced, not mentioning his ability not to get hit back then, its a Tyson win
I dunno Vitali has good chin and Larry was 37 when he faced Tyson. No wonder he got mauled (although that glove stuck in the ropes didn't help). Vitali would last longer than Holmes, and theres a fair chance he will last the distance if he sticks to a survival game plan.
