26 April 2014, #1 Welterweight Keith Thurman calls out Porter & Mayweather

Porter might be crazy enough to take Thurman up on the offer. If I were a world class welter I'd run anywhere I could to stay away from One Time.

 

Porter already ducked Thurman. He will continue to do so.

 

this one could potentially be big, WW unification with the winner getting Floyd

 

Hmmm, an actual "young, hungry lion" calling out Floyd...... how will Mayweather respond?

 

How would a fight between Porter and Thurman be a unification bout?

 

porter would demolish thurman, would love to see it. thurman is not a worty opponent for mayweather yet. either way, mayweather would counter him to death. u can't hit what u can't catch.

 

Neither one of them deserves a shot with FLoyd. They haven't done enough yet in their boxing careers to warrant such a high payday.

Let them fight each other and continue to build up on their resume. By late 2015, one of them might be considered the best WW in the division and at that juncture either one might be considered a worthy opponent for Mayweather.

For his next few fights, FLoyd should be looking to enhance his legacy by fighting very decorated/established fighters like Pacman and the winner of Cotto-Martinez. FOr his last fight, he can take on whoever is considered the biggest threat at either 147 or 154.

He wont. I bet that fight never happens and acutally it shouldnt until floyd handles manny and Lara. Thurman should also wait on porter because a porter fight will be much bigger money down the road if both guys hold are more established and well known. two undefeated champions fighting for whos the best is better than two undefeated fighters fighting for a shot at the best.

 

those two guys are buddy buddy. i think thurman will fight him when ever but porter or shall i say porters team is not trying to go that route unless the money is right. im thinking porter team might price them selfs out of the fight, i think they will ask for a million. which i think he deserves but im not sure if golden boy and haymon think so. its really up to haymon, please al dont be gay and make the fight :bbb
