Khan has little beyond his speed, his skill level and defense are completely unimpressive for a world class fighter. His defense is porous, he's not accurate, lousy footwork and balance, lacks ring smarts and adaptability. Fighters like Maidana, Peterson, and Garcia were to able to time him and get to him.

Khan will do nothing of note after two rounds once Floyd makes his initial adjustments. Not enough brains or versatility to fall back on.

Pacquiao has a better use of angles, more accurate, more intelligent, takes a better shot, better defensively...hell the only thing Khan has on Pacquiao is the height/range and jab, which I suspect will take Mayweather about two rounds to make the necessary adjustments to dominate.

Floyd has been trying to cherry-pick him since 2011, and Khan still keeps screwing that up :rofl

I would argue JMM was better defensively in his prime than was DLH. JMM used to fjab and keep on the outside at his prime weight at 126. He wasn't exactly fan friendly, but he also doesn't hold any advantage of range or speed at 147.

I would agree DLH, JLC, Genero were the best and underrated defensively, but they fought offensive styles. The style of defense is much different. I think the TS is referring to slick defensive types that try to stay at range. I would say in most "recent" years it's been Judah and Mitchel. Ever since he has pretty much only fought come forward fighters. Canelo also is decent from the outside, but he held no advantages to win the fight their. Poor game plan, on his teams part.

I would like to see Mayweather against a slick defensive type like Lara. I don't think many people would enjoy the fight, but I think it would be the ultimate chess match.

Mayweather had lost the first 5 rounds to mental midget Zab Judah before he was able to figure him out.
Khan imo is bigger and faster than that Zab.

Listen, I'd pick Mayweather to beat Khan, but I want to see him do it in the ring rather than just make the assumption that he can actually figure out a fighter who actually has significant physical advantages over him.

Khan has had his problems against punchers as he's tried to punch with them. Mayweather is no such puncher and he's not about to get into a brawl with Khan.

I think its about time Mayweather fights someone who's going to be faster along with being a better puncher than he is.

Stylistically Khan presents problems to Mayweather that Pacquiao does'nt.

pac is still top dangerous, he beat Bradley well.

no comparison to 40something roy jones, calzaghe only fought him when he knew he would be beating up an old man.

That would be a good fight early 2010 (but you know what happened to the negotiations)

pedjr will be a footnote in boxing history:

    the coward who ducked pac.

he sold enough tickets to be remembered just like people will remember bieber for the millions of shitty music he sold.

pac =fotd, 8 div titles will be etched in history which will not be broken for a long time or ever.

Which 'competitive' fights are you referring to?
