Did anyone else think John Molina looked like a giant compared to Matthysse ???

    I could not believe how much bigger John Molina looked than Matthysse during the fight. It almost looked like Molina was a couple weight classes above The Machine. I don't remember seeing such a big size disparity between two non-heavyweight fighters as far as I can remember. I could not believe it when the commentators said Molina was moving up a weight class, he looked so damn big!

    Matthysse is small and deff a natural 140 pounder.
    Molina has the body of a 154 pounder.

    He did look bigger, but matthysse was in fact a few pounds heavier in the ring

    Molina is just a somewhat decent sized guy in a division for midgets.

    Yeah he definitely looked a couple of weight classes bigger. Huge guy for his weight.

    6' 4" G. Jones made welter early in his career. I would be close to death making welter and I'm only slightly bigger. But with the things we know now it's not all that strange anymore.

    Unfortunately for Matthysse he has T-REX dimensions and yet is clearly having trouble staying at 140 given how much he blows up between weighin and fight night.

    Have you got a source? I got my info from the commentators for the fight, they of course could have been wrong.

    Are you sure they weren't referring to Matthysse weighing in slightly more (12oz) than Molina?

    Matthysse came in 140lbs; Moline 139.25lbs.
