A lot of people hate Money and will believe the hype that Pac can stop him.

It's lost a lot of it's appeal now that Pac has seriously declined. But Pac is still an elite fighters unlike Jones Jr who when he faced Calzaghe hadn't beaten a world class fighter for 5 years. His previous fight was against a past prime for welterweight in Tito fighting at a weight class 2 divisions higher than his last fight and 4 divisions above his best weight.

I'd say it would be more like Calzaghe's win over Hopkins. Hopkins past his best but still one of the best fighters in the world and still operating successfully at world level.

Back in 2009 Pac/Mayweather was the most talked about fight I have ever experienced. I had people who had never shown an interest in boxing talking about it. I over heard women at work talking about it, I doubt I'll ever see or hear that again in my life time.

I'd say if a WW came up and beat all those names considered how they all potentially look now if they were to go 15-0 or something respectable like 15-1/17-3 avenging losses they'd be HOF quality and would probably be the pick for best WW of this current era

Of course it would a huge mega fight that brings in a ridiculous amount of money if/when it happens.

It doesn't mean that we didn't miss out on what would have been a matchup between the two best fighters of the era, both of them were 1 & 2 P4P, in/near their primes.

We don't get that very often, hell the last time we got it was in 1993 with Whitaker/Chavez (even that one would've been better a couple years earlier at 140).

Of course it would be better than nothing if they fought in the next couple of years, but there's still the sense of missing out on it when it would've been the best matchup in a pure boxing sense.

I don't care how much money they make and how much they were able to milk out of the fans by dangling this mayweather/pacquiao carrot in front of us for years

I honestly think Ellerbe is gay for Floyd, the way he always stands so close to him, whispering in his ear and rubbing his chest between rounds, it's creepy IMO a weird relationship certainly more than friends, didn't floyd once say meeting Elerbe was the best day of his life, i mean the man has 4 kids but no meeting a middle aged man is his best day ever seems creepy.

You're just jealous of their relationship.

    Two multi-millionaires, two great men...

You wish you had Leonard's job, he makes upwards to 5-10 million a year...

I'm not, they are still the two biggest stars in the sport. At least in the U.S. I don't know about other countries.
