There is no full-British boxer (that excludes Lennox) post-Turpin other than Ken Buchanan that can be considered REMOTELY elite.

Ricky Hatton never beat a notable fighter (Malignaggi is not notable - a C level fighter, Tzyu being B-level with his career defining moment beating the weak Zab Judah). Not surprisingly, when he fought the elite boxers he got demolished every time.

Joe Calzaghe fought nobodies his whole career, before beating a washed up RJJ (still getting knocked down) and getting a horrible farce of a gift (even his father told Joe a stoppage was needed heading into the 12th rd - and no, he wasn't just using that as motivation) vs Bernard Hopkins.

Benn and Eubank ducked Toney and have average resumes. Benn could not beat McLellan without excessive cheating and horrible biased hometown refereeing.

Hamed also beat no names and got showed up by Barrera.

Haye's career in any division is also not worth mentioning. Every heavyweight in the post Lewis era (including both Klistchkos) does not have a notable career due to the weakness of the division. Haye beat absolutely no one of note. Completely shut down when he finally fought someone with a pulse.

Carl Thompsons' best wins are padded record Haye and washed up Eubank.

And let's not end without diminishing Froch's weak career. He beat washed up Glen Johnson, and padded record Abraham and Bute (who have never beaten anyone notable).
