Just to clarify, I used to be a massive Tyson fan and still think he was a good fighter, I have every fight of his on DVD and some of his amateur fights so I'm not a hater. I just don't buy and believe all the bull**** excuses that people make for his downfall!!

Douglas quit before and he quit after he's a letdown who could have beaten Holyfield but was too lazy.
Douglas at his best is a dynamite fighter no doubt, but a dedicated Tyson would at worst win a UD with that Douglas if he didn't stop him.
You saw that Tyson can hurt Douglas when he lands, hell he hardly landed any decent punches all night yet when he did land one significant punch he nearly pulled off the KO despite taking a pounding for 8 rounds and being seriously hurt!
Douglas fought excellently that night but he was still making mistakes that Tyson should have capitalized on, mistakes a well conditioned 8 week trained Tyson WOULD have capitalized on.

Tyson wasn't doing much prior to the knockdown apart from getting frustrated and hitting after the bell.
