Exactly. But the risk for Adonis is far too great. He won't fight him unless it is absolutely necessary. That's the bottom line here.

    I'm all for this fight.......

If it didn't come at the expense of a Stevenson-Kovalev fight.

I'm not one to call a duck, but I'm finding it harder and harder to justify this guys words and actions.

Campillo - beat Cloud & Shumenov should have been IBF/WBA Champ at the time
    Cleverly - who beat Bellew
    Boone
    Sillakh
    Agnew
    White

So basically the same in spite of what you were attempting to imply.

Boone? Yes Boone knocked Stevenson out, while Kovalev has 2 wins over the same boone, dawson is a typical china chinned afro murican,Cloud is a bum that actually lost to campillo and kovalev beat Campillo by Tko 3, Bellow is a complete britbum, gonzales is another can. Kovalev's resume is no worse than stevensons.

LOL, that's a lame ass response.
I repeat, Who has KOVALEV fought, not some byproduct response.

Kovalev's real name is, Lucien Bute.

They are the same. Bute ran from Super 6 like Kovalev ran from Showtime.:yep
Neither had fought anyone and yet everyone is ducking them.:rofl:rofl

    Nah.

Stevenson's resume is no great shakes. He gets a lot of mileage out KO1 vs Dawson, which was impressive. Cloud was a good win, but no better than some of the others on Kovalev's.

After that, it is all just filler.

They're about equal in my eyes, resume wise. But Stevenson has that L.

Maybe. But only if Stevenson ever decides to fight him.

Doesn't matter who fights him. He's still going to lose his belt to, Stevenson, Ward, or BHOP. :yep

I dono man. I'd give Ward the best odds. I don't know that Hopkins has it in the tank anymore. And Stevenson seems to be doing all he can to make sure the fight doesn't happen.

    I agree.
Stevenson will be tied up with Fonfara and then Hopkins, so Kovalev will probably have another fight or two in that time-frame.
But who can he fight now that he is with HBO?
There is only Ward, but if Ward moves up he will likely have a fight beforehand.

I remember watching Campillo - Cloud, and Campillo was robbed. Bellew - Cleverly was close if I reckon. Stevenson and Kovalev's resume are similare, appart from that brutal KO of bad glass jawson!

C'mon, this has been done to death - Kovalev beat the guy who beat Cloud, beat the guy who beat Bellew (cunning mispell BTW), didn't get KOd by Boone and KOd him in 2 (rather than 6). Jesus Gonzalez at SMW is a similar kinda win to White at LHW...

So...essentially Sad Chad, coming off an emphatic beating is what seperates the two.

Irrelevent (I'm not trying to sell Sillakh as a similar calibre win) but on a kinda tangent, I would like to see Dawson vs Sillakh - two very skilled pure boxers - has the makings of an excellent fight IMO.
