    Ali had bad technique and defense, what he had was heart, courage, athleticism, a great chin, and he knew how to go against the rules of boxing in an effective way.

    His mouth was no flaw to his success. In fact it had a great deal to do with his success.

    Ezzard Charles didn't have te best chin, and also could be sucked into brawls, I feel as if his skill made up for his slight shortcomings of ring generalship.
