Agreed when you fight the best your bound to lose ..No shame in that that's what great fighters are made of they bounce back from adversity !

Prime Shane and prime Cotto didn't see Floyd as a ppv Bonanza back then. They saw Floyd as a high risk low reward so don't pull that lie out of your asses about Floyd not fighting a prime Shane or Cotto. Same goes for Pac. Pac wanted the fight but Arum keeps looking for signs of Floyd slipping.

First of all, why can't you just call these men by their names?

Everyone is calling him out now because he is the money maker.. He wasn't a money maker sitting at home.. He decided to come back and fight Marquez to get back in the game.. You can't use how long he was out and who he fought after said time against him..

What I find funny is that you want these middleweight fighters to drop 6 or so pounds to 'challenge' Floyd, but cry that he fought a guy who dropped 1-3 pounds because he was drained.. Everything you said about Canelo, you can and will say about GGG.. Who had he fought he was green, he was drained...ect Martinez is a Mosley.. He was old, he was past his best, he was also drained...ect

When it comes to Floyd Mayweather, there is no winning that's not including his record...

Small stake is one thing. Good enough to get season tickets, but full ownership is something else entirely. Ask Michael Jordan and Robert Johnson who lost tens of millions while owning the Wizards and Hornets. :yep

He's a troll who likes to call pro boxers names like he's 12 years old. He has no credibility and isn't worthy of debate.

mayweather has been the money man in the sport since he beat ODH so stop rewriting history its paul williams and margarito who he ran from hes beat cotto and mosley so he gets full credit from me for both wins. was mosley past it probably but he was coming off a big win.

    :deal

At the end of the day people can say whatever they want but the fact is that Pacquiao turned down a 50-50 split from Floyd when manny was at his peak. All because of random blood testing. Haters gonna hate

It doesn't get the respect it deserves, because, people love to hate the guy.

Certain "fans" will always cling to fighters they feel he ducked, and make them out to be better than they really were/are.

Margarito - Prior to Cotto, he hadn't accomplished enough to make it worth the risk for Floyd. Caught trying to cheat against Mosely. He had a great chin and high workrate. But, he was not anything special. His best win was against Cotto, and that was heavily tainted. Time to let this go.

Cotto - This would have been a good fight. But, Cotto did not want it. At 140, it was said he wasn't ready and at 147, he NEVER said the words "Floyd" or "Mayweather", publicly. Margarito at least expressed some interest in fighting Floyd, even approaching him personally. Anyway, they fought, out of their primes, Floyd proved what most already knew...he's better. Move on.

Williams - You could make a case for Williams. He was calling everyone out at 147. And none of the big names at WW really wanted to consider him as an option. That includes Floyd, Mosely, Cotto, Pac etc.

Pac - He walked away from 50% share in the biggest fight that could be made over random blood tests, which were to be taken no less than 2 weeks before the fight...to fight lesser fighters for a lot less money. He has to be kicking himself over that one. Sure, Floyd showed his insecurity by requesting the testing. But, even he knew it was the best option for him at the time. Hence, the Marquez tune-up, then straight to Pac.
