Guys i want to make a serious point here. Everyone slates Khans chin - hes chinny, china chin etc. I just rewatched the Garcia fight - khan is NOT chinny. He got put down by a shot to the neck that would have put an elephant down. Then got up - ate some more shots and then the round ended. Then - he proceeded to eat a disgusting amount of ****ing evil punches direct to the head by garcia and was still standing at the end of the fight. Now - my point is this - a chinny fighter is one who gets KO'd cold. Khan is just **** defensively and is too brave for his own good. He lets himself get hit with punches that would knock out or knock down any fighter. The reason we don't see other fighters getting knocked about as badly as him is because they know how to defend themselves. Hes just **** at covering up, rolling, clinching etc. Its been the same story with all of Khans fights - look at maidana - took some punches that would have annihilated any fighter and was still standing. He stood up from prescott and i guarantee you any other fighter would have been knocked out cold. Anyone on here want an intelligent discussion about this then cool. In before - khan is **** and so is his chin etc cos its funny but not clever. Also - i recon he's going to get utterly battered on saturday unless he boxes clever - will he box clever? Im not sure. Floored and should've been counted out v Willie Limond? KO'd by Prescott and Garcia? Decked by Diaz and Gomez? Khan's chin is awful. End of.
Explain all the other knockdowns, KO's, chicken dances, and outright turning his back to his opponent and literally running :huh
KO is falilure to beat the count because you cant get up - he was TKO'd. Dont you see the point mate - his chin is normal. His defence is ****ing pants and so he gets leathered non stop. I remember gomez - great fight
Your Chin is the second line of Defense. There have been PLENTY of fighters with atrocious Defense that were not knocked out or down. That excuse doesn't fly.
So Khan can't take a shot without being scrambled and he is STILL choosing to be a professional fighter, boxing at a high level - makes a lot of the plebs on here look pretty cowardly doesn't it? Look at all these iron jaws that post about boxing on the internet whilst Khan is doing it.
Khan has an average British chin. So yeah its average World level. Khan is everything else there is exceptionally good
Khan's chin is an absolute disgrace but it's better than Broner's. Khan's major problem (he can actually stay up right from huge punches) is his slow recovery times and stupidity while hurt to trade.
Listen nicca Khan has an average jaw and he doesnt suffer from stupidity. Khan fights with a warrior spirit not fight stupid.
I remember when me and Khan were playing on the swings and he was saying to me "Push me really high so I can see my back garden" and I was pushing him really high but then out of no where a rose petal was floating about and he got pushed straight into it and the petal hit his chin! Nothing happened and he came back down from swinging and I was laughing at him because the petal was stuck to his face and he wiped it off and we went to the shops. My point is that any other fighter who got hit by a rose petal would have probably been knocked out cold.
Khan's chin is made of wet poppadom. He was decked by Diaz for ****'s sake. One of the worst chins in British boxing history. However, it is still sturdier than Broners.
