Floyd came out and stated that the only reason Mayweather promotions and GBP are working together is because of Richard Schaefer. If Schaefer leaves GBP, then the Mayweather-GBP relationship ends also.
I can pretty much guess that goes the same for Bernard Hopkins who also has a very close relationship with Schaefer.

My guess is that Oscar remains in the background and allows Schaefer to continue to do his thing, else it would be like breaking up the foundation under your high rise.:yep

Mayweather does not want to fight Pac at this moment. If it happens, it will happen in his very last fight and he'll go out in a blaze of glory defeating a very shot Pac.

 

In the article, Mayweather said that if Schaefer is fired or quits GBP, he is always welcome to run Mayweather promotions and do what he did for GBP.
You can bet Al Haymon would be deeply involved in this new expansion, and Hopkins also.
