    Very good point, but I've been wondering. Even for Sterling, couldn't he go to to some psychiatric therapy and convince people he's changed? Wonder if that'd be acceptable.

    Mayweather realizes that he would have to stop gambling if he acquired an ownership interest in the Clippers. However, as pointed out above, given his past comments about Asians, it is not likely that the NBA would force Sterling out for racist remarks and then let Mayweather acquire an interest in a team. However, it remains to be seen if the NBA can force Sterlling to sell the team if he doesn't want to.

    The NBA can only influence the board to do so, they can't actually force him out. The other owners have to do that, and since they're in a business where image can affect sales, I'm thinking there's a very real chance it will happen.

    I doubt if the other owners can force him out. There are antitrust issues involved. If Sterling chooses to litigate this matter, there is a good chance that he will win. I am black and don't think it is right to force him to sell his property simply because of what he said in private. He has the right to be a bigot. Some of the other owners probably feel the same way he does, they just haven't been caught yet.

    All having been witness to Shakur's death means is that you were somewhere outside the MGM Grand a bit after eleven that night - which, being a Las Vegas resident and extremely likely to have been ringside for such a big event, it would be hard to believe Mayweather wouldn't have been.
