Stevenson : I would love to unify the titles against Pasacal

A Stevenson-Pascal fight in Canada will bring in much more cash than a Stevenson-Kovalev fight, anywhere.
Stevenson knows he can leverage the Hopkins name to pull in great numbers in Canada and seen as the Canadian fighter who did what Pascal could not. Beat Bernard Hopkins.

The Stevenson-Pascal fight makes much more sense for money and bragging rights than Stevenson-Kovalev. Face it. Kovalev is basically as nobody.

 

Look man Tony Bellew was weight drained vs Stevenson. At Cruiserweight that is a 50/50 fight

 

Kovalev would be wise to make some fights as soon as possible to gain a name for himself.
Once he has actually fought someone of note, then he too can proclaim, I am, somebody.

Until then, Kovalev can sit on the outside watching all the insider do their thing.

 

It is a bigger money fight but lets be honest Pascal doesn't stand a chance

 

I wouldn't say that Pascal has no chance against Stevenson.
Pascal has faced the better opponents and has the great level of experience than Stevenson.
Stevenson has the better ring technique but both carrying a big punch.
Going into the fight I'd give Stevenson a 60/40 edge over Pascal, but who knows what can happen.
Pascal has been undergoing some ring changes since Roy Jones has entered his corner. He showed those rough changes against Bute but it was obvious he is still adapting to them.

 

Kovalev could fight Chilemba. That would be a good name.

 

pascal's jaw won't hold up against kovalev....it shatters in the 6th.
