canelo is exactly what the sport needs....yet he still gets bashed

if pac had beaten this guy last year in the fashion floyd did.....his fans would have this as a top 3 win on his resume easily...instead its torn down and canelo is picked apart

 

His haters really know nothing, and are butthurt cause he keeps on proving them wrong. The amount of people picking Angulo to destroy him was ridiculous. And then when he beat Angulo they had no idea what they were watching and said Angulo threw the fight. atsch

Great post, completely agree. Boxing worst enemies are the fans themselves, I say.

 

boxing fans are one thing....fans of a fighter with an agenda to discredit a win by another rival fighter are another

 

Ok then, majority of "fans" as very few of them are actual fans of the sport as opposed to, as you say, fans of a particular fight or fighters with an agenda for them.

 

IMO fans of the sport dont have a beef with canelo

fans of pac(or floyd haters) do....because they dont want floyd getting credit for the easy win.....is basically what i said

although im sure there are fans of the sport who do have a beef with canelo....thats fine too....but id say they are reaching and hating without it truely being warranted

I do...and you know what....the reality is this

most floyds fans/defenders actually like manny...or at least did at one time....and ive said this...i was at pac/hatton and pac/cotto....i was and still am a fan....i like floyd more...but theres still plenty of room for me to like/appreciate manny

what spawned floyd haters discrediting mannys wins and picking him apart is the actions of mannys fans....claiming floyd is a chicken, ducker, cherry picker blah blah etc......if people gave floyd his just due....and accepted that manny has walked away from 50/50 and a drug test....that his promoter has dodged this fight time and time again(its basically irrefutable if you look at things).....then there wouldnt be much hate for manny...ive always liked him and buy his fights....hell me and my friends bought pac/bradley 2....cause im a boxing fan.....but his fanboys go way over the top in discrediting anything he does and claiming hes ducked a prime shane and cotto when its obvious that was not the case.....its downright sickening some of the crap they say....and it has turned many people who like manny away

 

Trout beat Canelo, Floyd beat Canelo, and Lara will beat Canelo.

Canelo can only be slick against his own kind, but put him against a real slickster, and he looks stiff and dumbfounded.

 

He will go on to carry the sport.

He's actually pretty smart.

For such a "beating" he took against the best fighter of this generation, he looked and was pretty healthy by the time the fight ended.

He knows he's still young and he'll have a lot more championship fights in the future.

 

Yes very true anyone Floyd beats is a bum and not worthy enough to even be fighting.

According to pac nuts, Pac would spark him easy because what ever floyd and do Pac can do better.
