We need to remember that Khan looked virtually shot in his last fight vs an over the hill Diaz. Add in a 13 month lay off, fighting a bigger guy.....I really think Khan has his work cut out here.

I think he'll look good early on, then start getting tagged in the middle rounds and possibly stopped.

Collazo is going to be hungry and Khan always comes to fight - he has a big heart regardless if he's mellowed down and not been in the ring for a while.

I think it's a very competitive fight with Collazo stopping Khan in the mid rounds. The weight will have an effect and khan will be in a ring with a solid welter for the first time

 

Khan's punch resistance is awful and his defence and Ring IQ is poor and he doesn't have the power to keep fighters off him. However Collazo is completely past his best and is very slow nowadays. He lost to Freddy Hernandez! I think speed will play a big factor. I think Khan will run all night long and use his speed for a win over a cherry picked opponent. Although Collazo despite not being able to punch has a chance cause Khan has hit the deck many times from pillow fisted boxers. Hopefully he will fight someone good after this.

 

Amir finds a way, but probably not before a scare or two and another display of the 'khan-khan'.

 

Khan will box smart for the first couple of rounds, Collazo will rock him and Khan will go to war, end result khan getting sparked.

Can see khan getting tagged at somepoint i think it will be pretty early to be honest about rnd 3 and moving up a weight these guys are going to bang a bit harder

 

Khan looks huge to me really filled out. defiantly not a young kid anymore.

Collazo can fight a bit on the inside and this is Khans kryptonite
I think Khan might just scrape it but he needs a performance to reignite his career his last two fights have been disappointing. if hes going to box and not go to war his chances improve

 

If Khan uses his range and speed he has the style to beat Collazo. The problem with Khan is I don't trust him to concentrate and follow a game plan. I will pick Khan by UD with a few scares.

Collazo isn't even a top 20 welter he's past it and is much slower these days and doesn't punch hard

make no mistake this is a cherry pick..

However Khan is mediocre so it will probably be a typical Khan fight in that he will struggle and get dropped and win a razor thin decision or he'll get knocked out.

 

Khan v Collazo predictions:

A boring, one sided points win for Khan against an average opponent who is being made to be dangerous even though he has done nothing of note for years. Khan will not risk a thing just incase he is offered that Mayweather payday.

Then Khan fans pouring on to every boxing forum, making YouTube video's telling the world "Khan is back....", "Mayweather is ducking Khan" and something about Khan's "Blurring handspeed".
