California commision has upheld Goosen's promotional contract with Ward. This is the second time Ward has brought arbitration against Goosen. Hopefully this gets Ward back in the ring and fighting again soon. Hate seeing him being a part time fighter while in his prime.
Ward is a bit of a nit wit if he really thought it would go any other way , now all he has done is lost time and a bit of respect. Fight out this contract then move on is what his advisers should be telling him.
I'd agree. Can't blame Ward for wanting to go after what he thinks is best for his career but he's lost twice now and all he has to show for it is a lot of wasted time and probably money.
Fight should be in Monaco. Or Mexico, if young Chavez pulls the upset. So Ward will probably give it a bye.
Why? Nothing to gained there. Better going to Kovalev for a title fight or going to Germany and giving AA the rematch he wants so badly.
What a waste of time. He was trying to use California labor laws, which is applicable to regular employees, to get out of his contract. When Donaire lost, Ward should have taken note. Garcia has a better case because he signed over-lapping contracts, but Ward had no chance in this fight. Hopefully he accepts the decision and put it behind him and start fighting again.
How does his God explain this to him. Ward is an idiot ,plain and simple.:nutI guess he won't be saying thank you to his maker in the future.
LOL you dizzy fools can't read, so let me help you out. The court have not yet made a decision in Ward's lawsuit. The judge has not yet rendered a decision, so the contract has not yet been upheld. The CASC upheld the Goosen contract by the CASC is not the Cali court that rules on legal decisions. The key news is so far Goosen has failed to get Ward work since Rodriquez and proves Ward's claim that Goosen is unable to promote his career.
