Mayweather's WBC 147 and WBC 154 both on the line?

    Seems WBC has a rule saying if you have titles in 2 divisions and lose a fight in the lower division you lose both belts.

    Maidana would become champ at 147 and the 154 title would become vacant.

    so will it count as 154 title defense as well? Remember that ray leonard and lalonde fought for 168 and 175 titles

    why in the hell would his 154 belt be on the line??

    the answer is NO. its a welterweight fight

    the WBC is beyond a joke for allowing him to hold 2 anyway because they disregard their own rules again. not to mention their most recent one which states that a WBC champ would have to choose between belts should he win a unification fight.

    Maidana just getting his stride at 147 so how can the 154 belt be on the line:huh:-(
