Maidana can hit but he's awkward and khan is quick enough to avoid them. But overall he's glass. After Prescott embarrassed him he used his length and speed to avoid close contact but if someone catches him he goes down. I expect collazo to ko him

At 147 maidana stops khan within 3 rounds.

Khan beat maidana with activity.

Maidana couldn't put Khan down but put hype job Broner down twice.

So I SHUDDER to think what Prescott- who KO'd Khan in round 1, would do to that bloody chin of Broner's :admin

 

1. Maidana wasn't drained at 140. Maidana thought about quitting boxing after moving to 147 after losing to Alexander as he felt 147 wasn't the division for him.

2. At 147 UNDER GARCIA Maidana probably does stop him within 3 rounds.

 

Khan won the Maidana fight but he was out on his feet for like 3 whole rounds, it wouldn't have taken much for him to get KO'd in the later rounds.
I feel sorry for Khan, his chin is bad but at the same time it's not like he gets KO'd everytime he gets hit. Maidana did land shots early in the fight that didn't seem to affect him but once he was hurt he was running for his life for 3 whole rounds.

 

Who knows? Prescott is just 30 years old but perhaps he's gone downhill since the Khan fight. I just went to his record on BoxRec and he defeated Richar Abril immediately before beating Khan. I remember Abril being a very slick boxer, who was robbed against Brandon Rios. In addition, Prescott was KO'ing guys left and right before leading up to Khan. I'm just surprised people still discuss this fight. It happened in 2008. I mean....that's a very long time ago. Kobe Bryant had only 3 rings at that time. Lebron James was ringless and Obama just became President. Lol. If anything, talk about the Garcia or Diaz fight.

 

Its relevant because it exposed Khan as having a glass jaw... which he sadly wont admit. Every time he gets stopped its a lucky shot. The fact is hes just chinny. Good figher, great heart but if he admitted his weakness and tried better to avoid getting hit so much he would have been more successful. He was taking Garcia to the cleaners but Danny was patient enough to stand his ground and fire the left hook. Khan still could have recovered but instead tried to macho it out,

Prescott is a decent puncher who if your chinny and dive onto his punches can put you down and hurt you.
