This is clearly the biggest mismatch Floyd has been in for a Championship fight without a single doubt. Ortiz came out of a war and getting up from knockdowns to put former WBC Champ Berto down so he had a puncher's chance. Guerrero was winning and winning fights one division after the other and he proved he could stand in there against Aydin and Berto. Maidana was completely made a fool of himself against a boxer in a 10 rounder when he met Alexander. Now, under headcoach Garcia he bombs Broner who narrowly won a SD and the WBA title from Paulie and gets a shot at Floyd just like that. Oh No, this guy gonna pay like a fool.

Actually, I think it was the Baldomir fight where Floyd showed his true chicken-**** heart. Unfortunately for Floyd, Baldomir is retired.

    Mayweather-Gatti was a worse mismatch.

So was Barrera-Fana. That was an absolutely ridiculous PPV mismatch

Clottey beat up Judah, same Judah who decisioned the hyped Mathysee after that fact and just destroyed Mundine. Arguably beat Cotto. Gave Margo a close fight whilst Margo was still loaded. What has Ortiz, Maidana or Guerrero done thats even remotely comparable to that?

Sugar Ray Robinson fought many much bigger mismatches.

Sugar Ray Leonard fought worse mismatches in several of his fights at the top level.

Same with Hagler, Hearns, Ricardo Lopez, etc. as well as contemporary legends in Hopkins, Jones, and Pacquiao.

Yes, but they also didn't fight once or twice a year on PPV.

Maidana, Guerrero and Ortiz just does not cut it at this level.

    Only Barrera-Fana beats it.

Then this... goes to show what an utter joke this whole PPV is.

    ?

He has 45 victories, more than Ray Leonard.

He didn't just now get to the world level. He's been there since his 19th fight. Sooooo, 26 victories at world level with almost all of those being against consensus top 10 ranked opponents? More than most HOF'ers from the last few decades have.
