what makes you think that mate. I do think he fought the wrong fight against Ryder.. but Ryder is a solid guy with a big future himself.saunders ahs always impressed me , in his fight before Ryder against Gary O'Sullivan .. his skills and speed were beautiful to watch.

I think BJS is more skillfull than Quillen but I am afraid he doesnt seem to have any power. I think he could do very well but has he ever had to demonstrate chin, heart, recooperate from a knock down?

His struggles with the decent domestic fighters. He struggled IMO with Ryder and Blackwell and didn't look all that good against Pryce or Hall CONSIDERING that I don't think either of those two are that good.

Saunders does indeed have lovely speed but his power and stamina suggest that he needs to go back to the gym and work on them big time. I'm also unconvinced about his chin.

I think Ryder will go further in all honesty.

Saunders's up coming fight with Emanuele Blandamura will tell us a a fair bit about Saunders but Blandamura is himself a 30 something year old non-puncher. He had a great win against Nader but that result aside he hasn't gotten any other wins of note.
