775,000 and 800,000 buys for Pacquiao/Bradley 2

  1. If it's anywhere near that number, that's still decent, considering the undercard was crap.

    :yep That's exactly what happened.

    Bi-polar Bob is a worst businessman than Mayweather and when his incompetence got exposed he reacted like a child by stomping his feet, name calling and lashing out at Mayweather, Schaefer, Maidana, Corona beer and everyone around him, including the MGM.

    Pretty damn good considering it was a **** under card and Bradley doesn't have a big fan base for some reason. I wasn't one of these numbers though

    I don't believe those numbers even if my MAMMA was doing the counting. With that awful-ass undercard and then Arum complaining about May 3rd posters everywhere and then asking people to boycott a fight of another fighter with another promotional company. he was in straight PANIC-MODE. But all of a sudden it's now at 800,000 PPV buys.

    GTFOHWTBS!!!!

    Exactly!
    Lets see if HBO announces the numbers. If it were anything close to 800K, Arum would have announced it days after the fight, not weeks.

    ......and why has'nt either Arum or HBO announced it yet?

    "Sources close" :lol::!::nut

    HBO, which produced and distributed the pay per view, declined comment.

    Its funny when the Mayweather-Guerrero #'s were released you tards mocked them and joked about them. But you:tong these #'s? You say Bradley was a P4P fighter and undefeated, he was already on PPV before twice I believe and Manny has been a PPV fighter for years. Manny is falling off in the ring, in ppv #'s and in opponents to fight. Its not like Pac's ppvs have ever produced amazing cards at the elite level. For 2 P4P/PPV fighters to fight for a title and 1 is undefeated and do these #'s is not good. Its significantly less than before. Yes its good because Pac is still the #2 draw but compare that to Floyd getting out of jail and fighting a no name (but still tough, good fighter) Robert Guererro and Floyd didnt even promote the fight. :lol::rofl Ghost never headlined a PPV card.He made the ghost do all the work for the promotion and it still sold the same amount as 2 PPV/P4P fighters who the public knows.:dead Floyd is the PPV King who has all the PPV records. He shattered the records of Heavyweights and he isn't known as a "knock out puncher". These facts alone speak volumes about Mayweather PPV drawing power. Men lie, women lie, tards & haters defiantly lie but NUMBERS DONT!!

    You want to know what is the most telling portion of the article?

    "HBO, which produced and distributed the pay per view, declined comment."

    The only times a network will decline comment is if the numbers being stated are incorrect. They aren't allowed to release the numbers. They can only confirm when their client releases them first. When they decline comment; the numbers aren't correct.

    Carried the whole card by himself and doesn't need named undercards like Canelo, Khan or Broner.
