That would be a colossal upset that doesn't even make you remind of anything heard or seen before. I can see, I can picture it but it is so out of this world... a lucky punch out of nowhere and Floyd somehow getting unpatient and tryin to get him outa there in a moment so outa character and lights out, mean completely out. Not gonna happen cause Floyd already knows that this is the only thing this guy has.

 

Na he always took defeat the right way, even rectifying two of those loses...Floyd's 0 is the only thing keeping him popular in Boxing...he'd be a waste of exposure without it.

 

I'm pretty sure that Floyd losing is one of the signs of the apocalypse. Immediately after Maidana’s win is announced there would be a loud howling, then the fog would come. Horrific screams would fill peoples ear and all of man would gaze upwards as huge flaming beasts appear in the skies. Ancient creatures would rise from the sea and flood the cities. Statues and Gargoyles around the world would come to life and enslave man as the 0 on Floyd's record is twisted into a 1.

 

Well it ain't going to happen, but if it did happen, it depends on how it happens. KO would be the biggest upset in this boxing era. If by decision, then more than likely u have a Pac vs Bradley I version, which mean nobody will give him credit if it happens that way!

Floyd beat the same opponents pac has faced when they were in better condition at better points in their career.

Actually his skill to make good fighters look average is the reason he's popular, not just the 0. People and haters want to see him challenged and lose. That's what makes him the most watched fighter today!

 

Pacquiao fought Hatton and Oscar 18 months after they lost to Floyd. Floyd took Hatton's zero, and some would say his soul, and it isn't possible to argue against the notion that Floyd fought the better Oscar at the better/higher weight (Oscar hadn't fought at WW in 7 years prior to facing Pac)...

Pacquiao fought Mosley 12 months after he lost to Floyd; both at WW. Better win; clearly Mayweather.

Mayweather fought Cotto 2.5 years after he lost to Pacquiao; Pac at 145, Floyd at 154. Slight edge to Pacquiao's win here and made clear by the actual in ring performance.

Mayweather fought Marquez something like a year and a half after he lost the second fight via split decision to Pacquiao. However, Pacquiao fought the WW Marquez 2 years and then 3 years after Mayweather beat him by 13 points. Pacquiao went 1-1 against the WW Marquez. Neither of Pac's controversial performances in victory against Marquez are in the realm of Mayweathers win over him. While I understand Marquez at 130 and 135 are closer to his youthful prime, one cannot discount what actually occurs in the ring.

Soooo, that puts my count at 5 common opponents. Advantage Mayweather 4 to 1.
