HBO has the same drop-off when they air fights from Europe in the afternoon. Good match-ups like Froch/Kessler II suffer when aired out of primetime. My guess is ESPN paid little or nothing for U.S. broadcast rights, so I doubt this number mattered much. I didn't see very much advertising in the buildup to this fight from any of their programming.
