:yep Its the only sensible answer really if you think about it, and yes i was impressed with Chaves vs Thurman but that was a loss and his actual wins aren't anything special to say he is better than Maidana and Lucas.

I do want to see him fight on US TV again though.

Chaves is pretty good would love to see him against Maidana or Mathysse.

He would give both all they can handle and i wouldnt rule him out in either fight.

absolutely. i studied video of chaves leading up to the fight and tried to tell anyone that would listen that it was going to be a great fight. it was a chess match. thurman showed his intelligence in the ring.

Chaves is bum you inbred. All he fought was **** opposition and was ranked 20 when Thurman fought him. Abregu would push Chaves **** in.

Some people need visual evidence before they can determine how good a fighter is. "Who did they beat" is what they need, and even then it's only black and white.

They don't have the analytical skills necessary to determine how fighters fair against certain competitions. Chavez, if given the opportunity, would prove to be a premier addition to the welterweight division.

Abregu is also very underrated, but Chavez is no bum... The reason he was ranked that low is becuz I highly doubt any top American name other than Thurman would fight him given the risk/reward ratio

Based purely on how he did against Thurman, you can't possibly say he won't fair well against lesser fighters, which make up most of the division. Not saying he'll win all those fights, but guys that are ranked higher would get smashed by him... For example BRONER

It's not just about "who beat who", there's also "HOW"

"Who he beat? He ain't fite nobody!!!!"
I always get a good laugh out of those arguments.
Resume ***s are truly some of the laziest scum bags on Earth. Too busy looking for names they've heard of instead of good fights.
