Froch is at the tail-end of his career.

    Nice honesty by Froch.

    Misleading thread title.

Fighters at the end of their careers who have ducked nobody previously in their career have openly admitted not wanting to fight certain fighters e.g. Hopkins - Ward, Marquez- Ruslan

Funniest thing about Froch saying that is you know he's one of the few top level fighters that wouldn't avoid Golovkin if push came to shove.

Wheras you have all these other guys who say they would love to fight him but clearly have no intention.

I agree, I think Froch would have gotten in with GGG a few years ago, if push came to shove. I'm a little shocked at his honesty, but Froch doesn't have to prove anything at this stage of his career, so I guess he can afford to be honest.

Groves, was right, yes he hits hard but he is a middleweight.

To be honest I still think he'd do it now. He didn't want to fight Groves in a rematch but unlike certain other fighters he knows when he has to give us a fight we have to see.

It's a valid point, Abraham's power didn't carry up, but I think Golovkin is far more accurate and a far better boxer so I'd predict he'd still be a KO artist at 168. Not sure he'd be able to stop Froch though.

He could stop Wlad if he felt like it.

A lot of these guys fight at 180 or more in the ring at smw, not Froch, but they are big. GGG, is not cutting like crazy to get to 160. I'm just not as certain his power would carry up as some seem to be.

Good point. But Froch's chin >>>>> Wlad's chin. And I'm not even talking pound for pound here
