Can someone non-bias explain to me what is going on with the gloves?

Honestly, I have seen these in person. They look like an old mans forehead. Obviously I cant feel Maidanas, but the make of the pad is actually like that....My question is, why the hell are the first ones bad, and the second ones ok?
This honestly seems like floyd is just trying to run his **** because he can.

 

Error by Everlast, making those custom Gloves with less padding The Red gloves have been approved yet Floyd still doesn't want Chino to wear Everlast. He wants Maidana to wear his Padded Grant gloves.

 

You guys don't know the fact behind this bull****? This is one of Floyd's strategies to make his opponent feel upset and angry before the fight takes place.

 

According to Team Mayweather the glove was already broken in, which may have been why the padding was thinner. These types of situations are not uncommon that's why they do these things before each fight. The fight will go on.

Floyd is just being a DIVA to stir controversy and promote interest in the fight as well as getting into Maidana's head(as mentioned above).

The custom gloves apparently had too little padding for the commission to approve. The non-custom, red MX's seem to have been approved, though, so Maidana should be able to wear those.

 

Essentially this ^. Although apparently the gloves weighed right so the argument is not over the amount of padding but over it's distribution.

People hanging on the word 'customised' should undrstand that in most big fights custom colours are requested by the fighters - that's all it means, not that the gloves are somehow designed or made differently.

Also standard major fight contracts specify that factory sealed gloves be used, so any issue with defective gloves is down to Everlast, not Maidana.

 

This is why MMA is taking over baxxing they were real fighters gloves.
