10 mins after I heard about the glove **** I saw a video where they said he can wear any gloves he wants as long as there padded right and low and behold Maidana is using everlast gloves how and why is this news.

I don't really like the idea of paying for ANY fight. But, I find myself doing it more often than not, whether it's at a bar, my house, someone's house, etc. I haven't tried the movie theater yet. But, I do it because, for 1, I can. For 2 because, even when I say I won't, I give in to the suspense of the build up and seeing it live and experiencing the entire (televised) event as it's happening. A good stream is usually not easy to find (or in another language). Downloading in HD the next day is...well...the next day.

I guess I kind of "pay" year round anyway for the Sho and HBO subscriptions to be able to catch the non-PPV cards. I watch FNF and NBC Sports too.

I say all this to say...well...I ain't boycotting ****. It is what it is. I am a fan of the sport. When boxing gets the same network support as the NBA and NFL (like it did in the 70's and 80's), in sports where these athletes get $100 million contracts, we won't need to pay for PPV.

The focus on the OP is all about Floyd, of course. Not about the state of boxing in general. Just another hater, who says "boycott", but will make 100 posts in IB's RBR thread, as he is watching via a choppy stream.

This is the best undercard in ages and the main event is better than Khan vs Mayweather given Maidana's destruction of Broner. This is easily a PPV worthy card and could be the best night of boxing 2014 has seen so far.

 

Tough to call any man that steps into the squared circle a coward. Especially one with Floyd's in ring track record.

I'm sure there wasathread on here just like this when Pac fought Rios.

Not sure why, but only Mayweather seems to be held to such a standard that a unification bout is ridiculed.

I fully expect Mayweather to win, but I love watching him box so much that I'll be staying up to watch it. Same with Pac when he fought Rios. Two ATGs and we have people who are so incredibly stupid that they can't just appreciate them whilst we have them without resorting to nonsense like this.
