Accepting or rejecting your opponents gloves and wraps are part of the rules.

Its been that way for a long time.

All Ive seen since last night is alot of panicking, name calling, conspiracy theories made up...

    All the while Im wondering...

Why do you think those rules exist in the first place???

It doesn't matter if the fighter rejects them, as long as the commission approves, there is nothing another fighter can do. Hence, he is wearing the Red Everlast that Floyd wanted rejected...

If its in the contract and and the commission approves the gloves there shouldn't be any problems

No, you can object to your opponent's gloves and/or wraps, but it's up to the boxing commission to determine if they're acceptable.

The controversy didnt start with the Red Everlast.

They started with the custom made Argentina blue ones.

    Which looked fly to me.

But its always the same thing, the fighters or their teams inspect the gloves, if they dont like em, the opponent picks another pair. Thats why they ALWAYS show up with multiple pairs ready.

No, the commission dictates whether they have to select another pair. The opponent can object, but they don't have the final say.

I know the blue ones started it.... The commission rejected them, and Robert said they would wear the red pair. Floyd still complained about those as well, and said " he's gonna wear what I wear", but the commission said the red pair were fine... So, they can wear the red pair even though Floyd inspected them and didn't like them...

Sigh... I never said your opponent gets the final say.

And I dont mean that your opponent can object without valid reasons.

In this case the commission deemed the objection valid.
