    Maidana really imposed himself in that opening round. This is a 37 year old Mayweather. Expect Floyd to make adjustments now though. Maidana just needs to make it rough and set a fast pace.

    Mayweather is bouncing around, dropping in straight rights from outside. Maidana throws heavy body hooks with both hands, clipping Mayweather in half and pelting him onto the ropes. Mayweather blocks and shrinks down into the ropes, letting Maidana unload. Mayweather eases out to center ring and works some jabs to head and body. Right hand by Mayweather as Maidana ducks. Uppercuts by Maidana pressing Mayweather into the ropes. Mayweather dances off the ropes, going left with his elbows up past his nipples, gut sucked in as Maidana swipes at the body upon seeing the head is unavailable.
