    Mayweather is throwing jabs and backing up, lowering his arms to conserve energy and breaking into a saunter, heel over heel. Scoot-in left hook by Mayweather, holding afterward. Maidana hammers down with a right hand coming forward. Head clash, Mayweather cut. Mayweather scrambles into the ropes, ducking low and clubbed across the skull. Mayweather is stepping in with left hooks on the body. Maidana is powering ahead with lefts and rights sheeting down, mixing in hooks on the body.
