It's a testament to how well Floyd plays up the villain role.

At the end of the day, I don't have to love all of Mayweather's posturing, interviews, or other choices to appreciate that he's a hell of a fighter and has worked tremendously hard to get where he's at. It's too bad guys like Broner look at the end result of where Floyd is now without comprehending all the thousands of hours work it took to get there and make it look "natural".

All I know is I'd still rather see a fighter, even one who's "the bad guy", get to see more big paydays instead of the puppetmasters like Arum, Schaefer, and Haymon.

Really after saying he wanted to knock them out? Are you really making excuses for the fact he hasn't done what he once was best known for in a long time.

Floyd to Ali: They forced you into some fights that you shouldn't have that's why you are the way you are. Stop hating on me.

    A) Pacquiao can barely handle Marquez's counter punching. There is more to fighting Floyd than volume punching and aggression.
    B) Manny is not coming into the ring at 165. Floyd will not struggle for a second on the ropes with Manny.
Floyd by very, very wide decision or KO against Manny still. Nothing that happened in the ring tonight changes that any more than Marquez putting Manny to sleep with one punch changed it. (Same Marquez that looked like a child vs. Floyd...)

Yes, probably, but Floyd won't fight Pac. Floyd apparently lost to a slow moving Maidana, I don't think he will fare better against wily and better Pacquaio.

To borrow a line that people have been using in this thread Floyd counter punches nothing like Marquez.

That is why Floyd keeps avoiding the Pacman.

Remember people Pacquiao is old like Floyd. He would be around 36 if he fights Floyd next.

Yes… ran from the testing in 2009 only to eventually acquiesce to it to still no avail.

I think we all know who was doing the running.
