punch stats do not tell the full story of the fight, dont post these as they are only a guide anyhow. Its some guy at ring side pressing a button , not 100% exact.
atsch Even if those numbers were accurate it would mean that Floyd only outlanded Maidana by 9 punches which averages to less than one punch per round. :-(
personally had it 7-5 for mayweather but no problem with the judge's draw card. 9-3 mayweather is ridiculous
FLoyd won a close but clear decision 8-4 or 7-5 but he had to work hard for the W, Maidana as it turned out has improved greatly since teaming up with Robert Garcia and is no pushover
Ok way to be a Showtime zombie. Do you really believe those numbers are accurate? Floyd obviously landed the cleaner flashier punches, but more punches? Maidana threw over twice as many punches. And as far as significant strikes, like they do in UFC, if you count those Maidana body punches, I bet Maidana had way more. Argument here is volume vs quality punches. Floyd landed the flashier punches, but more punches? I dunno about that.

Mayweather 9-3 Some of you guys seem to have a unique manner of scoring fights. Ignoring the actual judging criteria of professional boxing in favor of... what? Activity? Maidana throwing twice as much and getting outlanded and hit with all the great shots in every round except for the ones he did win....? You can't tell me with a straight face that Mayweather didn't win all of rounds 9-12. And if you value blowing your wad and hitting shoulders, elbows, back, trunks, or back of the head, then that is up to you. I guess you could find a round or two among 2-4 and 6 and 7 to give to Maidana. And that would still end with a Mayweather 116-112 score. You're gonna watch it in a week on the replay and be like... "Woah. Yeah. Mayweather won this easy."
