Oscar, Mosley and Marquez were blown-up and/or shot to ****.

Mitchell, Lacy and Kessler were very limited. Brewer, Reid and Woodhall were better.

Well done Big Bang. I thought Mayweather would completely befuddle Maidana, and didn't really think the fact that he hammered Broner would tell us otherwise. But it looks like he is good against that particular style, and is a fighter at the peak of his powers. Not keen on Mayweather,or his family, but he proved his greatness last night for me.

Thanks :good Turned out to be a decent fight! Watching how Floyd dealt with Maidanas bullishness was very impressive, but dealt with not as easy as people thought. I'm not sure I want to see a rematch though, I'd rather see someone with fast hands try him on.

Chris Eubank, who called a potential upset before the fight, now reflects on the bout between the man many say is the American Hip Hop version of Eubank himself, Mayweather Jr, and Marcus Maidana this past Saturday night.

"Congratulations to Floyd Jr for matching the record of the great Joe Calzaghe. It was a close contest, that perhaps warrants a rematch.

"That Maidana style is tough for any fighter who primarily picks his punches and attempts to control the tempo of the bout. Thomas Hearns fought a guy named Juan Roldan once if people remember. Roldan swarmed him similarly and Thomas was hit more than he was ever hit even by great fighters.

"But Hearns started to hit him in about round three and four when Roldan slowed down, and Thomas won by knockout via body punches. And where was Roldan from? Argentina, like Maidana."

OK mate. Khan fits that bill. But maybe somebody like Lara if he beats Canelo, which I think he might. I reckon he should "order" an eliminator between Amir and Garcia and fight the winner. Cant see that happening though. What I could see is Eddie Hearn saying Kell is not fighting Porter for peanuts and is fighting Khan in Sheffield for the right to a Money{in more ways than one} fight. Not holding my breath though.

Floyd won though, so Eubank got it dead wrong.

**** fight, and now idiots are clamoring for a rematch. Wasn't too long ago that everybody was up in arms that Floyd considered Alexander as an opponent, now he's got people buying two fights with wild ass Maidana at nearly 70 bucks a piece.

Some boxing fans have short memories.

The rematch will be more of the same with Floyd bothering his ass to do just a bit more offensively so the margin in the points will be larger then they will move on to the next farce.

How is that for ****ing foresight.
