Who is the most skilled heavyweight fighter ever? Who is you favourite in this one? I know styles make fights, but there are still difference in the skill levels.

Nah, Joe Louis might be a nice shout but there actually was some American dude they dubbed "the next Ali" back in the early 90's. Can't remember his name and he was gone pretty quick.
The guy could move and punch from all angles, weirdly skilled and everything. He just missed the two main ingredients to succeed, wich are pop and punch resistance. Good fighters just walked him down, skills be damned.

Maybe someone can come up with his name, he was truely amazingly skilled.

Everybody knows it's Joe Louis but I personally like Ezzard Charles too.

    Joe Louis was definitely skilled.

Muhammad Ali was more athleticly gifted and had amazing speed and reflexes. he did very many things unconventionally.

    For me it was Ali.

Great Footwork and handspeed, tremendous jab, excellent defensive ability. He could outbox his opposition in a number of ways including going backwards.

Overall he was a terrific HW who was able to achieve incredible things even though he lost 3 true years of his absolute prime.

Very much agreed on the bolded part.

And his reflexes were elite, it was the main reason his defense was so good.

Balrog - underrated fighter but IMO a all time great who dominated the 80's and 90's before being banned for drug use
