I never seen someone throw as many rabbit punches as Maidana

While he does fight awkwardly he was throwing A LOT of rabbit punches and at least 3 low blows

What was up with that. If the ref actually enforced that he would have lost a lot of points

Are we gonna act like MM wasn't throwing rabbit punches

 

He did throw a lot.

 

It was a dirty fight. Floyd dropping bows and chino doing what he does

 

And Floyd using the "Peoples elbow" without being warned i bet your ass didnt saw that.

he was wickedly rabbit punching, purposely going low many times and rapping whenever he could. hell, he even stole floyds elbows to the face.

that head butt was perfectly played by mm too. he was great last night and did better than anyone expected and better than anyone ever had before

 

See if Floyd turns his back as he consonantly did, then good punches become rabbit punchers.

Hatton had the same problem , just wasnt strong enough.

Which is why people think it was closer than it was. MM wasn't exactly landing a lot of clean effective punches after the 5th rd. He was just trying to tackle Floyd and flare his arms

 

Now if Bhop was fighting him MM would of really lost with the dirty fighting lol

 

In round 8, Marcos nailed him with a strong and clear low blow shot- it was a left hook that was supposed to hit the body I guess, and he followed it right up with a left hook upstairs.

The ref was on the opposite side of the ring when that low blow happened. SO when Floyd complained to him, Maidana had enough time to hit him with a left hook right afterwards upstairs.

He hit him with at least 3 clear low blows last night, but the majority of Maidana's bodywork was very accurate and clearly above the belt line. SO I think those low blows, which were very clear, were by accident.

His overhand shots to the back of FLoyd's head were borderline dirty though. They were the only shots Maidana was landing upstairs for the first few rounds of the fight and all were happening when FLoyd was on the ropes. He threw a lot of those illegal shots.

Tony Weeks allowed a lot in the fight, and it made it much more fan-friendly.

Nigel Benn takes offense at the idea that anyone throws more rabbit punches than he did.

 

Maidana is a VERY VERY dirty fighter, wow. Of this caliber I have never seen it before. Just watch the first round how he threw more elbows than punches with the fist. DAMN.
