Maidana was a fresher fighter than the Margarito that Pacquiao fought. All you need to do is use your eyes, it's crystal clear. Margarito definitely had loaded gloves alright, his punches looked like he had weights in them

Oh Please. Before this fight Maidana was a C level fighter. Margarito was the biggest threat in the division and would absolutely maul Maidana. If he could maul Cotto he sure as hell was gonna do it to Maidana.

Watch the highlights, that is the difference between Pac and Floyd. Pac punishes opponents and constantly on the move, this is why Pac looked a lot better against ODLH than Floyd did. Floyd likes to stand there and let them tee off and then he potshot counters, Pac keeps moving and throws heavy combinations.

    Pac would stop Maidana.

A show of bitching and moaning to the ref a show of trying to get off the fight claiming he couldnt see, saying to Weeks "I am bleeding!!!!" that was quite a show,a pathetic show but a show nonetheless.

He was doing the same thing to Cotto in their rematch, Cotto just engaged in less trades due to Pedro Diaz training. And Margo was only stopped because of the eye, which Pac damaged.

    A. Yes but JMM punches like a man whilst Mayweather punches like a girl, BIG DIFFERENCE. JMM has 40 KOs vs 26 for Mayweather, not even close. If a fighter lacks punching power, he's toast vs Manny. Bradley is better than Marquez and can counterpunch but the lack of power has resulted in two losses vs Manny (we all knoow Manny won both).

    B. Weight means nothing. Cotto, Maragarito were bigger than Pacqiao and Manny destroyed them. If people think 165 was the reason Maidana troubled Floyd, think again. I thought Maidana's issues last night were lack of speed and had he been leaner, he probably would've done even better. SPEED DESTROYS WEIGHT AND POWER ALMOST EVERY TIME. Wasn't Bradley at 160 at fight night vs Pacqiao? How did that help him? 165 IS NOTHING. Also Pacqiao packs a heavy punch, he doesn't need to be 165

so both your points are just invalid, clearly

Maidana, the bum fighter who got beat by glass-jawed Amir Khan. The cab driver who went life and death against the ballerina Victor Ortiz. The journeyman who almost lost to a 60-year old Erik Morales. The potato who was taken to school by Devon Alexander.

Everyone was expecting a 118-110 type of fight. Pac would've blown this guy out of the water. Maidana seriously exposed Floyd this fight.

    @ SUPER TROJAN

I was thinking about the same thing too. Knowing that he's running out of high profile GBP opposition, he took a small dive in this fight - make it a controversial one, to set a rematch. A rematch between Floyd and Maidana most definitely would sell lots of tickets. Then he could fight Danny Garcia and Khan (if Khan will have a good win). If this was the plan then Floyd is a genius.
