    Maidana is not a "C Level" fighter. B-level, sure - although I would say B+ is probably closer to it.

    " C level" fighters are good journeyman fighters who were never contenders, people like Ross Purrity. Maidana is a world class fighter, and clearly a contender.

    The guys have to actually fight to see what happens - as everyone knows, Tyson kills Douglas, Floyd outclasses Chino completely in a Baldomir type fight, Tyson beats Holyfield, Oscar crushes Pac with a jab in a sideshow fight that is embarrassing to boxing, and Ishida gets knocked out quickly by Kirkland.

    They have to actually fight.
    And Pac did better against Oscar, Cotto, and Hatton ... and almost took out JMM in one round. JMM is tailor made for Floyd - Floyd is great against textbook fighters. Against awkward guys it is a bit more tense and he has to fall back on other features. The JMM ko6 thing is indicative of absolutely nothing - Marquez had four fights to figure Pac inside and out.

    Why would Floyd look bad now, in 2014, to make less money than he would have had he fought Manny in 2009? Floyd would make what, $40/50 Million now compared to $120 +Million back in 2009?

    Its possibly the first time in his life, he possibly uses his eyes more then the average boxer...so its something new. I think the panic mostly came from the reduction of vision quality (fear of as the fight goes on), he possibly missed some punches cause of that
