Ageing is a real thing. Most boxers are worse (physically at least) when they are near 40 than they were in their 20's.

Except that he beat all 3 of them.

Bradley would lose trying to do that against Floyd. He's too small. And when that fails, he will try to box with Floyd and Floyd is better at that. Pac would not fight like that. He is not THAT wild and physical like Maidana, and like Bradley he is too small to beat these WW's like that. He will do what he does, fight his ambush style until he starts getting timed, and there is no plan B for him, when that fails.

Being curled up by body shots and pushed around by lead rights, is not "walking through" punches. He had more success than most simply because he was willing to do whatever it took to win. That includes rabbit punching, kneeing, wrestling, using "custom" gloves, etc. He basically made it a street fight and had success. But, he still lost 8 rounds.

It's good for someone to push Floyd. It made for good entertainment and suspense. But, it was an ugly, foul filled affair and a rematch would go differently I'm sure.

Floyd was taking vacations when he was 30 due to the division hotting up.

Add to that that Tommy was a f*cking veteran by the time he was 30 and was fighting a few wc's above when he started speaks volumes, IMO.

No. Jesus Chavez at 130, Castillo at 135 and even Cotto at 154 showed that a sustained pressure attack is what gives Floyd problems.

Jesus Chavez wasn't in the same class and won rounds.
Castillo most thought beat Floyd the first fight and two judges had it 7-5 rounds twice in the second fight.
Cotto won some rounds early but faded in the middle rounds.

After last night, i still Think Froid beats Manny by a narrow disputed decision (thanks to the former's Vegas clout). May however does not have the confidence and courage [to fight Pac] that his talent and clout should have naturally brought him... Sad.

Let's be series and not be saying crap because u hate Mayweather. Pac would have problems with Maidana rough u up dirty tactic style. Mayweather still beats Pac. Especially the new conservative Pac.

Why on earth should we celebrate the fact that we saw 2 terrific fighters put on a great show? Can't we just leave that to boxing fans? Oh, wait...

At first Floyd haters were yelling Maidana won, after that B.S. got shot down by real boxing fans they reduced it to Maidana got robbed, further analysis has again reduced that to Tards saying it was a close fight, fight wasn't that close or hard to score so they now say Maidana style troubled Floyd...but now most pathetically of all they are debating whose face look worse? As if that is what wins rounds!

All this shifting and changing just proves that those I'm talking about really don't know **** about boxing.

is it at all possible that Maidana has simply improved since he lost to khan/alexander? he's improved since he fought Ortiz?
people act like boxers stagnate and remain the same fighter as they were years ago.

Floyd is a good fighter, but certainly far from being a "TBE". That's like a laughable joke hearing that now.
