From what I saw last night, it looks to me like Floyd is about washed up too. Floyd doesn't need the rematch.

Alexander and Kahn who Maidana lost to are significantly better fighters than anyone Margarito managed to beat outside of Cotto. When people said Margarito was this huge threat his best win was Lewis, Ortiz when Maidana fought him was considered the next Hoya and Broner was considered the next Mayweather, even if they were wrong Margarito has never beaten anyone who was looked at like that besides what Cotto

Maidana isn't a HOFer but he has a better argument than Margarito, 2-weight Titlist and WBA Champ> barely a 1-weight Titlist and WBO Champ. Lets be completely honest here when factoring in Pacquiao Maidana that was picked last night is better choice than 8/10 of Pacs opponents at WW and above(Maidana> Hoya, Cotto, Clottey, Margarito, Mosley, Marquez III, Rios, Bradley I/ Maidana < or = to Marquez IV, Bradley II) Pacquiao is great because all the division titles but almost every fighter he has fought since being linked to Mayweather were badly beaten just before the fight not 3 years before more like 1/2 fights before.

Maidana, Alexander, Kahn, Broner are all more accomplished than Margarito, Clottey, Cintron, & Williams and considering there sytles and flaws all can beat or lose to the other but outside of Williams I'd favor the current WW over the others.

Isn't this the triangular theory *****s have been using for years to justify Floyd-Pac and why he doesn't need to fight him cos he already fantasy beat him?

mosley roughed margarito up and made him is *****. Margarito never fought a guy the same weight as him, who came forward and mauled. Mosley tied him up a lot and was able to beat him from pillar to post

Look at this ********ual doing everything to try justify the fight not happening. Any reasonable fan wants to see the fight, but this man's concern for Floyds health comes first. :rofl

Maidana was not supposed to be the challenge he ended up, so either Floyd is regressing, people got Floyd overrated, or Maidana underrated. Even if you think Maidana is underrated, then it still stands that either Floyd is capable of making a miscalculation in his pick or he's picking better opponents than you believe.

Depends if Floyd decides to fight Pacquiao or not. If he does, he loses first.

I thought Maidana should have at least got a Draw but and I had him winning by 1 round so I am no *****. But nothing in this fight tells me that Pac would beat Floyd.

    1) You guys want to make Pac a pressure fighter. He is not. Yes he throws a lot of punches in his fights but that is against fighters that come forward and play into Pacs strenghts.

    2) Some talk about Pacs footwork, really. The last thing you want to do against Floyd is box with him. just plain stupid.

Lmfao @ this dumb thread. I'm sorry I didn't know pacquiao style is the same as maidana lol. If this is the case then the way pac fought marquez/Bradley proves pacquiao could have a problem with mayweather since marquez who mayweather beat in a shut out is a great counter puncher which mayweather is the master in counter punching and pacquiao in the rematch was having problems with Bradley which Bradley is a good defender and mayweather is one of the best defenders. I mean seriously this thread like I said is dumb.
