And that's why the Pac fight will never get made. He'll always find something to whine about. The glove debacle is a disgrace to boxing. It was a complete b*tch move.

If the is a rematch. I wonder if he'll make sure Maidana pillows and put it on the contract.

Well personally, I think he could fight every fight like the end of the Guerrero fight.. He can move, jab, and turn any fighter.. The one thing a fighter never really lose is ring iq.. He could have stayed off the ropes and he could hand escaped when he found himself there but didn't.. People act like we haven't seen him fight before.. I don't see why he would lie when he win the fight...

The worried look on the faces of the Mayweather people before the decision was announced tells you everything you need to know about how they thought the fight went.

it technically is the blueprint. You have to "fight stupid" to beat Floyd. You're not going to outbox him or out think him. It's what Emmanuel Steward said about Roy when he was still near his prime.

why say "he's a great fighter" and all that when you next come up with "I could have made it easier if I wanted to, I got hit for the fans"? it shows lack of respect and class

It's a question, I've never seen his fights vs alexander/ortiz. but it's not beyond the realm of possibilities that a man can improve quite a bit given the right structure and trainer. it's not like 30 is an age where you're old as **** already.

edit: just for a parallel, granted it's a different sport, but you see this **** all the time in the NBA.

I agree and disagree tek. I agree a awkward fighter can beat him cus it throws his rhythm off. But I also think a fast good boxer beats him too. Look what an aged Oscar did, imagine him in his prime? Hell look what zab did for four rounds. I think a prime Mosley would bully and outbox Floyd. Shame it didn't happen.

I get it, you don't like Floyd and for you it's like Christmas because he ALMOST lost, but give Maidana the respect he deserves

Shane's had problems with boxers too. Oscar took him to school (i'm exaggerating lol) in their second fight by boxing around. That would have been a hell of a fight though at 135. I thought Floyd beat Oscar 9-3 in his first foray at 154 which hasn't been his best weight.
I told my buddies last night that Floyd isn't able to counter Maidana effectively because Maidana doesn't have a rhythm. Floyd had to get off first and make Maidana a little hesitant about waltzing in and firing recklessly. He made that adjustment around rd 6 and put in his best work.
Zab won the 3 of the first 4 rds. He did well. But it's not like he was exhausted in the 5th. Floyd made the necessary adjustments which brought him success.
