Everybody has an opinion and they are entitled to them but the one's that count favored Mayweather. Now, I just checked Floyd's record again and I'm sure it read 46/0. My question is this, Can any of you gents change that? I'll answer that. HELL NO!!!. However, you are free to talk your asses off but just remember, talk is cheap.

Anyone who thinks that fight last night was scripted is a moron. There wasn't much "pretend" going on.

Nobody allows themselves to be punched in the *****. Maidana was effective in cutting off the ring, jabbing, and making Floyd miss. He has an awkward rhythm and doesn't throw predictable punches. Floyd was not intentionally fighting that way any more than Leonard was against Duran.

He repeatedly gave Maidana FULL CREDIT for their effort and heart. He repeatedly gave Maidana's trainer and team FULL CREDIT for their gameplan and preparation. He even shouted out Mikey Garcia as a great young champion and the community of Oxnard.

What more do want the man to do? Seriously?

He could've circled and boxed if he wanted to. He had the longer reach, quicker feet and faster hands. He is capable of it. But, he fought a more "crowd pleasing" fight. He's a pure counterpuncher. We have seen this. But, he fought an aggressive fight, pushing Maidana back. He layed on the ropes a bit too much, I thought. But, that might have been to catch a breath and bait Maidana for short punches and to dig to his body a bit. Maidana did not physically put him there, he walked to the ropes. He chose to bang with a banger.

Problem is had he boxed off his back foot all night, he would have been "boring", "a coward", "afraid to engage". People should make up their minds and credit the man for digging deep and meeting Maidana's aggression.
