What exactly is going on between Oscar vs. Schaefer, and why would that swiss rat Schaefer have fighters on one-fight contracts, knowing that when Schaefer sets up his own firm, this would allow him to steal these fighters? Doesn't the Swiss rat know this is considered breach of duty to your corporation, Goldenboy promotions?

I'd like to know what's going on between them, too.

You sir sound foolish you can hire a CEO AND CFO to your company same way mayweather did with L.E and mayweather promo!!!...He was still boxing when he found Richard and needed some-body to run the company!!

Will be interesting to see, but yeah - Oscar and his investors have some cause for concern.

I'm assume that Oscar and the rest of the GB investors aren't complete idiots and had their lawyers write Schaefer's contract so as to not get them ****ed over if he ever left.

There's not really much they can do. Once a GBP fighter's contract is up, Schafer and Haymon can pluck them away under their own promotional entity. Schafer has been doing the front line work all these years, making the connections and building the relationships with the boxers. There's little doubt in my mind that the vast majority of boxers under the GBP banner would go with Schafer or Haymon over Oscar. Not that I think that's a good thing.

I assume that if he was smart enough to hire Schaeffer in the first place, he's probably smart enough to hire the best lawyers money can buy.

Everyone seems to forget that Showtime likes doing business w/ Golden Boy. Oscar has the better contact w/ TV. . . . not Schaefer.

Oscar can employ another banker to take care of business.

    schafear is GBP

when u think GBP richard comes to mind.... floyd already said he ain't doing business with GBP if there is no richard

so oscar trying to patch up the relationship between TR and GBP will do no favors to a pacman vs may fight...

More people need to start understanding this.

If you think you can just easily plug some other dude in his spot and GBP maintain its position then you're in for a surprise.
