I must admit, I thought Froch looked very nervous at times. His opening words were all positive and non-confrontational, but he just didn't look comfortable, his body language just didn't match with the words he was coming out with.

I agree with a lot of what the OP says but everyone's gonna see things differently.

What's been abundantly clear to me in the build up to this fight (and the first one) is that Groves puts a lot of weight into mind games with Carl. Clearly this worked 1st time round but won't work this time. There were smacks of desperation in Groves towards the end in the realisation that his bull**** wasn't having the desired effect!

Personally, I feel as though Froch beat Groves at his own game, Groves getting oranger and oranger by the minute.

Prediction: Froch by KO inside 10 Rounds

Cupid Stunt and all his alts ...FightTime, good boy, I Know Everythi, MVC!, AfraidOfManny, The Devil, Solarse, I Am The Best,FartWristedBum, I Have Knowledg, , Benji12345, Suarez7 , Rampage88 etc etc etc etc

Why don't people just keep reporting his trolling ( racist in a non direct hoping way) threads. The Khan fanatic strange clinically depressed waste of a human being is the biggest troll Ive ever come across

    Just report him

either that or just give him the truth on Khan's medicore abilty and long list of embarassing moments and failures... makes him literally cry everytime.. so much so that he cannot ignore one post HE HAS TO REPLY INSTANTLY lol he major health problems clearly not normal ..there is no hope for him, no hope whatsoever.

I think most are mis reading Frochs body language , he certainly does look uncomfortable at times , but i read it has he is'nt really good in front of cameras full stop , And with George acting such a tit most of the time , it does get under Frochs skin , but i think Froch is uncomfotable because he's like a dog on a lead, being teased , he wants to have a go there and then , but his master , TV, BBBC ECT , are whats holing him back .

Alls i can say is , be careful George , cos in a couple of weeks that dog is gonna get of the lead and have a bite , Now Geotrgie boy may think he's wound the dog up ebough and he's gonna get it mad , and stab it when it comes flying in ,

But what he don't relize is , this dogs not a collie or , a labrador , its a FaCKING PIT BULL and don't feel no pain.

Ther, hows that for an anology , not bad heh' , Jeez i'll be writing a book next , , Just got to learn how to spell and i'll be write , ha ha

Groves clearly iritates Froch & Groves is alot more comfortable with all the media / mind games stuff. dont read too much into it though. No one gets knocked out by words. it comes down to boxing ability.

Having finally watched it I would say Froch looked like he handled it well at times (when they were going back and forth at each other) but at other times he looked visibly rattled (mainly when Groves was talking and he was sat silently). I'm amazed that Groves' words are able to have such an effect on Froch.

Did you PM him like you did me ?

Quoting Nards " i would never lose to white boy " makes me a racist and Uchi reported me to the mods, now i wonder why i didn't get an infraction ?
Maybe because Uchi is an insignificant little ****, with a huge chip on his shoulder ?

    Fcukin racist ****

I can't agree that 'mind games' mean nothing. At elite level in most sports they are usually the difference where physical performance is measured in fractions.

Froch got the build up to the first fight wrong. He got the fight wrong, although he got the win. He got the post-fight interviews wrong. Not being an idiot he clearly knows this, though why anyone would expect him to admit it is beyond me.

He's therefore having to try something totally new here. The position that GG is not a credible opponent isn't a tenable one after fight 1, and if he kept that up he'd drain more support away. Despite what boxers say, public support must matter to them as they wander about the place, and Froch hasn't the time to rebuild if he gets this fight wrong from a presentational point of view.

I think he did well on ring-side. He seemed humble, while GG was baiting him. He didn't look that comfortable, and why should he? I don't suppose humility is his preferred way of presenting himself. However it may well have the correct effect. I can see him winning over a good number of the 80k who turn up. Win, lose, draw... that is going to matter.

The mind games still get to Froch, just not to the same extent as before.

Groves can STILL take him out of his comfort zone though and that is a worry.

Yes he did. A load of racist abuse, the funny thing being im a pasty white boy.

Best thing to do is ignore him, the poor boy is clinically insane

Has anybody seen the Froch vs Groves Facebook Q and A? Froch looked calm and in control and Groves looked a touch nervous. I still fancy Groves to do the business though.

Yes I saw that and thought the same. I felt Froch had come across well on ringside (much better than last time) and the FB think was filmed after that, so it was as if Froch has got a bit of confidence back and seemed on the front foot. I liked what he was saying to George about having his rematch, move on from last time and enjoy it. I don't mind Froch when he is down to earth like that. Not a fan when he was demanding respect like last time. He made himself look a fool.

I don't want to listen to anymore now though. I'm really looking forward to the fight, it doesn't need hyping up any more for me. Just get on with the gym work now lads, see you on 31st of May.
