Maidana was successful 1. because he used his size to advantage (something Manny won't be able to do to the same extent) 2. His awkward angles when coming forward and his punches.
Manny has a larger variety of punches and comes forward at all angles too. This is going to be hard to adjust to. Manny is going to have to be dirty to win, Manny is not a very dirty fighter.
Now that Manny is focussed more on skill since getting KTFO, it plays more to his advantage, honestly against someone like Mayweather, it does play towards Manny's advantage. Mayweather will be less likely to catch Manny so easily.

Name another guy in the history of boxing who's 37 undefeated and P4P #1 you can't find one:deal PBF's last prime fight was JMM. The guy isn't prime but he's still good. He beat a guy who outweighed him by 20 fights that held mauled and hit him in the back of the head and headbutted him causing the first cut of his career. Even still he adjusted controlled the second half of the fight and won. If you think PBF is prime you should find a new sport to watch dummy. Quit acting like the guy is prime at 37 because he's clearly not.

Those odd angles only work when his opponent is on top of him. Manny's greatest attribute is large volume and speed against Floyd, but even that has a big tendency to drop off when he is being outclassed. The best I can give Manny is a real puncher's chance.
