Is Collazo even a top 10 WW?

Brook wouldn`t go to America and fight Collazo,Brook would feign an injury or he would go to America and fight a club fighter like he did on the Atlantic City bill.

Collazo may not be top 10 but he is step up in class to any fighter Brook has fought.

 

reading some comments on this and i cant help thinking that if khan does not deserve a shot then how do most of wladimir klitchkos opponents? khan is more worthy of a title shot thsn the likes of leapai wach etc.same thing just a different division.

 

Khan deserves a Mayweather fight more than Brook deserves a Khan fight. End of thread.

No! Collazo was top 10 with some organizations, but we know these rankings are usually false.
I wouldn't have had Collazo in my top 10 before the fight, but he was definitely a top 15 fighter.

 

I think the difference being Wlad has virtually cleaned out the division, Wilder went the WBC route and Fury is all talk regarding them fighting.

Where as Floyd has got many options from 140 -154. Khan is 3-2 in his last 5, with wins coming over top 15/20 opposition.

I'm not adverse to seeing Khan in with Mayweather but I would like to see him fight a legitimate top 10 147 fighter.

Fighters I think deserve a Floyd fight over Khan imo are:-

Pacquaio,Bradley,Maidana,Lara,Canelo,Danny Garcia, Porter,Thurman.

 

He's not a top welterweight, but he is on the title fringes and he's a hard guy to beat convincingly.

That was a career best performance from Khan. Totally outclassed Collazo, and made him look a couple of levels below where he really is.

 

It is like the mayweather/pacman situation when one is mentioned the other is bought out like some kind of antidote to him.

 

What difference does it make? If you want to go by ratings, Khan and Collazo have decent ratings with 2 organizations. If you want to go by who people rate, most people would rate Khan better than some of the top 10 WW's.

I agree and it shows how ****ed up the rankings are that Kell Brook has become a mandatory challenger for a world title when he hasn`t fought a world class fighter let alone beaten one.
