Why the animosity? Having the view that Maidana won the fight IS plausible. Although I have it a draw personally. 116-112 Mayweather is plausible, too.

Mayweather did lose to Castillo in the first fight too. So people can freely and legitimately say 44-2. It's still a great record.

The more they say Floyd loss the more they give him an easy payday in September

    idiot. pac aint boxing pedjr.

he is going to get in their do what he always does. feint, lead lefts and throw hard combos and watch how pedjr reacts (pedjr isnt going to stay in the pocket and counter, he may defend and clinch , or completely disengage and look for the ropes).

in the ropes, pedjr aint looking to counter that pac's straight left. that's too risky. he will be looking to defend and clinch.

pedjr is the one going to adjust because is a southpaw.
he cant roll the puches, he cant stick his jab, he wont trade.
he has the left hook which is wide and he has his lead right.

pedjr is fairly limited against a southpaw, both offense and defense.
coupled with him a featherfisted, pac can blitz him with no concern of what is coming back.

if pac can sustain, which i think he can, a high level of offensive of activity like in the old days, he will overwhelm pedjr, virtually shutting him out ala clottey.

Unfortunately you have to, when all is said and done. Same with Bradley-Pacquiao 1. Do I think, no. I believe Marquez won, and I believe Pacquiao won against Bradley. But history will show otherwise. In the car of Mayweather-Castillo 1, I think a case can be made for a 1 round victory either way. Or even a draw, but my opinion on it means nothing, record shows the victor was Mayweather, and you can't go back and change it...

Morales always favored Winning gloves against punchers. He made Barerra wear them for their 3rd fight (least action out of the trilogy), made Danny Garcia wear them for the first fight, made Maidana wear them, and even made Pacquiao wear them on their first fight. And he got praised for all those wins.

Which proves Mayweather isnt the only boxer who makes punchers wear "pillow" gloves. It just a pre fight tactic against a puncher.

While Floyd was against the ropes Maidana threw 100 punches per round on average. His connect rate was said to be 30-40%.

Who stole the power? Was it all in his custom gloves?
That's what he said, "If I had me gloves I would have knocked him out",

no one says they fight/attack the same. read the posts. most of the points are, if a slow plodder like madona can corner pedjr, so does pac.

how they attack are completely different.

pedjr aint looking to counter pac on the ropes, he would more be concerned aboout hiding his chin and than scoring a counter with that firepower going infront of him. if he does, that's to only disrupt pac's rhythm.

he will be looking to clinch more than defend and counter. but a few punches can definitely get to him especially that pac can fullycommit to his punches and not worry about getting countered or hurt during counters.

would be the most exciting part of the fight when pac corners pedjr. lets see how his defense work against a 10 punch combo.

Good shout for him to have been disaqualified in that fight. No chance of Judah winning via boxing, though.
