pedjr is fairly limited against a southpaw, both offense and defense.
coupled with him a featherfisted, pac can blitz him with no concern of what is coming back.

if pac can sustain, which i think he can, a high level of offensive of activity like in the old days, he will overwhelm pedjr, virtually shutting him out ala clottey.

After watching the post fight press conference I believe that Floyd is telling the truth when he says he tried to make it exciting I.e. Choose to stay in the pocket and trade a little.
But I also believe this gameplan backfired badly as he probably thought he could hurt maidana and buzz him but maidana was too active for this to work and made him look bad.
If you watch floyds previous fights there have been many instances where he has been swarmed by his opponent but he normally pot shots away and neutralises the attack. But in this fight i think Floyd only landed half of what he normally lands. It was quite uncharacteristic to see him miss so much.

For me, one thing is for sure. If they rematch, Floyd takes a very convincing UD and will stick to boxing.

The question of can Mayweather beat Maidana anytime he wants is a mute point.
The real question is, how does last weekend's performance effect Mayweather future PPV sales because last Saturday was all about that?

Floyd was thinking way past this fight and using it to boost future venue.

madona is just a slow plodder amateur like rios compared to pac.
the fact that pedjr got raped by an amateur with pillows on, that tells you more about pedjr's skills than pac and why pedjr has no prime atg in his resume:

3 are southpaws with williams and martinez have size and length on them and stamina.

margarito is a bigger version of castillo and madona and with granite chin and stamina.

margarito will beat him worse than madona did, because, 1. he doesnt load on his punches, nothing to roll. 2. he wont care about his def, his chin will be his defense. just an all out attack 3. he wont gas.
margarito would have broken pedjr the way he broke cotto.

margaritio was the big reason pedjr bought his contract from arum. dela hoya was the excuse.

prime dela hoya, cotto, mosley will all be tough fight for him.

Who said that people believe there is Pacquiao in Maidana?

Pacquiao is a much, much better BOXER and FIGHTER than Maidana. Massive respect for Maidana after his performance in the weekend. However, saying that he is the same as Pacquaio but not quite as good is ignorant.

The reason why people are asking this question is because Floyd has clearly faded too. Many thought he hadn't (Alvarez/Guerrero). Many thought Pac had after his KO loss/win against Bradley. Now they stirr the pot by going back to 2008/9 when the fight should have been made, as if they are on an even playing field again. They believe Mannys attributes outweigh Floyd's again.

The only similarities between Pacquaio & Maidana is heart, punch output and pressure. Pacquaio lands considerably more, a greater chin, he is faster, has much more movement (head,body and feet) and creates much greater angles.

Comparing the two is delusional and ignorant.
