Imagine 5'11 170lb margarito pre-manny fight Vs Floyd

He's not throwing 1200 punches against a prime PBF if you think he will then you need to log off.

 

Prime Margo against a 37 year old PBF, yeah that makes sense. Pathetic! When fighters are compared who in the hell puts a prime fighter against a past prime fighter? It's always prime for prime except when it's PBF.

Also, if you watch Margaritos earlier fights, he seemed much more faster, but in his major fights, he seemed to be terribly slow, like his gloves were heavy or something.

A prime PBF like the one who faced Baldo could move for 12 rounds you lying fu ck. He had some of the best stamina in the sport the best defense and was light years more quick and skilled. With that said Margo cheated against Cotto and never had meaningful win after his daddy Mosley exposed him. Quit bringing up the Cotto fight he cheated.

 

I would not go that far . Antonio is no ATG .

But his workrate/stamina/relentless style is what bothered Floyd and caused him to duck Margarito .

Floyd is used to his opponents gassing out after 6,7 rounds , He loves that and anticipates that in every fight he has .

With Margarito , he knew theres no chance in hell he will tire out . So therefore no fight .

 

Mayweather would do what Cotto did for the first 6 rounds in the first fight, and thats box Margaritos ears off, but unlike Cotto, Mayweather could keep up the pace.

Hell, Cotto would have beat him the first time if it wasnt for the loaded gloves.

 

Especially since they all used to call him a runner meaning he stuck and moved for most for the fight. Now he couldn't do it in his prime. These guys will say anything to be heard.

Margarito was soundly outboxed by Cotto for the first half of their fight until the plaster started setting in. Mayweather could and would outbox Margarito.

Mayweather did the right thing by not fighting what we now know was a cheat.

If Cotto had done the same his career may have slightly turned out differently.

Hatton was overhyped due to his massive popularity . Floyd knew he would be easy work .

Hatton was never a threat to him and no one expected him to beat Floyd when the fight was signed . Margarito would have gave Floyd a way tougher test than Hatton did .

I agree , Floyd should outbox Margarito . On paper Floyd wins this fight .

Yet fights sometimes don't always turn out the way they should on paper .

That's one of the things I truly love about this sport . Anything can happen

 

Margo is a cheat he's not good. He's found out to have loaded his gloves so pretty much every victory he has can be questioned.
