Kieth Thurman is the type of guy Khan would get in the ring with despite all the KO predications then pull off a tough fought decision Let's be honest here...once Thurman established he was a solid contender with great power all the guys put in front of him were there to be KO'd...ever since beating Karass now I want to see how Thurman deals with a boxer...Khan could be that guy to test him... Khan or Alexander are good choices...Mayweather will either face Khan next or rematch Maidana...If he rematches Maidana which is likely then Khan has to face someone in December...(can't? be Brook or Porter)...Guerrero, Thurman or Alexander perhaps.
I don't like Khan chances against Thurman or Porter he really struggles against come forward pressure fighters (Maidana, Peterson) and these guys are bigger
pretty much this. Skillwise, Khan trumps them all, its his chin that will let him down in those fights.
Khan can only box on the outside. From what I've seen Thurman prefers to fight on the outside, picking his shots. When they do get close, Thurman will fire quick shots. One will eventually land and rock him. Maidana couldn't finish Khan off as he didn't have the speed or the punch technique, as good as his performance was against Mayweather, Maidana is one sloppy puncher. I'd bet my house on Thurman on this one.
